Patsy Kensit has opened up about her tumultuous marriage to Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, revealing she cried "every day for three and a half years."

The pair, who met on a plane in 1995, had an intense relationship that Patsy once described to The Mirror: "We just clicked on every level. He was protective and loving. When we were together there were fireworks, and a chemistry that lasted to the end".

They married in 1997 and welcomed a son, Lennon, two years later. However, by 2000, their divorce was finalised.

Speaking to The Telegraph in December 2000, Patsy admitted that while being with Liam was every 18 year old girl's fantasy, it was also a nightmare. She revealed that life had become more peaceful since their split, even joking that she could now play Blur's music without having to dodge Jack Daniel's bottles.

Despite this, she confessed to feeling like a "social pariah" after details of their separation emerged, particularly following reports of Liam's alleged fling with another woman in New York.

Patsy Kensit has candidly shared her past struggles in a relationship, revealing, "The first week we were living together he went AWOL. I'm just realising now that isn't normal", and added, "I'd made a commitment that I was determined to make successful, despite all the warning signs. I gave the most I'll ever give. I'm gutted it didn't work out," reports the Mirror.

Reflecting on her romantic journey, she expressed her initial optimism: "I thought I'd found it - that purity, that love. There was no sleaze. Our relationship developed over music and conversation. Yeah, and it died", before admitting the split was particularly tough as she had been married twice before.

Drawing parallels with another high-profile romance, Patsy mentioned Liam's self-destructive behaviour and compared her experiences to those of Paula Yates, who had a tumultuous relationship with INXS singer Michael Hutchence. Hutchence tragically passed away in 1997, with his death ruled as suicide while under the influence of substances.

"Like with Paula Yates, I was so distressed about that . . . Paula was very sharp and we can all go down a certain path. I've had some hard times, and now I can't bear to think about it", Patsy reflected on the similarities and her own challenges.

In other news, Liam Gallagher has made headlines by reconciling with brother Noel Gallagher, announcing an eagerly anticipated Oasis reunion tour set to kick off in July 2025. Fans are buzzing with excitement as tickets are due to be released this Saturday, amidst warnings to be vigilant against online scams.

Noel, 57, and Liam Gallagher, 51, haven't been seen on stage together since one fateful night in August, 2009, when their series of concerts at Parisian rock festival Rock En Seine had been cancelled following an explosive argument between the siblings backstage.
