Liam Gallagher touched the hearts of Oasis fans after it was revealed that he paid tribute to his brother Noel during every single solo performance, despite not speaking for over a decade. The 51-year-old feuded with Noel, 57, for 15 years after their relationship turned sour back in 2009 following a dispute, when they both turned their back on the band and pursued successful careers as individuals.

But last week it was announced that the Britpop stars buried the hatchet and announced an upcoming Oasis reunion tour and would hit the road once again breaking the internet with tickets selling out.

The split pulled the brothers apart, which was made public by spats and slurs made across social media. However, fans spotted that Liam had been extending an olive branch for a while.

The Mars to Liverpool hitmaker was spotted reserving a single empty seat for his big brother Noel during a show in 2014. In a moving confession, he shared that he'd taken up the habit as he hoped one day the seat would have been taken.

He decided to make room for Noel at every single gig since their fallout. One fan took to social media to point out Liam's sweet gesture in 2014, leaving another to directly ask the Wonderwall hitmaker: "Is it true that you save a seat for Noel in every gig?"

The star replied: "Yes, you never know."

The Sun adds that, in another eye-watering move, Liam dedicated a song to Noel at Reading Festival, on August 25, 2024 - days before their reunion was confirmed branding him as the “greatest songwriter.”

Their fall out dated back to one night in August, 2009, when their series of concerts at Parisian rock festival Rock En Seine had been cancelled.

It has been said that there were a number of explosive arguments between the siblings backstage. The announcement of their reunion sent shock waves across social media with the video being played over 80 million times.

Due to popular demand, they added additional dates to their Oasis Live'25 tour after "unprecedented demand” days before the tickets were released.

However, it has not been confirmed who else will be accompanying them on stage as the original group consisted of four individuals who subsequently quit and were replaced.

The rock group consisted of Liam Gallagher, Paul Arthurs, Paul McGuigan and Tony McCarroll.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the pair could earn £50m between them from the shows alone, with a likely added bonus from the merchandise sales, branding and sponsorship deals.
