Alongside the image, Vicki, 73, wrote: "So sorry everyone No Vix Mix Sunday this week. I've had a nasty fall and broken my shoulder. Ouch. Bloody painful. Me at hospital. Hopefully be with you next week. Missing you already."

Vicki expressed her delight over the audience's reaction to her character, adding: "I loved it. People were ringing me up saying 'Oh my God, we love this character!'

"And the funny thing is that when you're doing EastEnders, people defend you. I'm having a go at Rocky and then a fan will say, 'Oh, she was really mean to Rocky', and then you'll get another fan going, 'Well, what do you expect? He walked out on her 25 years ago! She didn't know whether he was dead or alive.'"
Last year, Vicki paid tribute to her younger sister, Suzie, who tragically passed away. Sharing the news online, the 'Allo 'Allo! star wrote: "Said Goodbye to my beautiful baby sister Suzie this week. Beautiful inside and out.
"Hundreds of people came to say their farewell. She was so loved. Wonderful memory with Suzie and her daughter Susie. RIP Beautiful sister. Be Happy in your new home. Love [red heart] You. #heartbroken."
