Olympics presenter Matt Baker has issued an update with his followers after receiving some sad news.
Matt Baker shared a video with his followers as he posted some sad news to his Instagram feed.
The Olympics presenter shared snaps with his wife and their dog Annie in the form of a compilation video as they confirmed the passing of their Labrador.
Alongside the videos, Matt wrote: "Sad to say we've said our goodbyes to Annie our beautiful Lab. She helped me and Nicola raise our kids and we owe her so much - just pleased we were all with her at home.
"I'm sure you'll agree the reason we all love our dogs so much is because the only time they break our hearts is when they leave us."

His followers immediately rushed to the comments to share their well-wishes. One user wrote: "So so sorry to hear your sad news. It truly is like losing one of the amily. But remember, between hello and goodbye there was so much love."
Another wrote: "So sorry to hear that your Annie has passed, lots of love and hugs to you and your family."
While another said: "So sorry, sending love to you all."
The sad news comes after Matt shared a "very busy time" for the Bakers.

He explained that he's been busy with "Biles and Bales". The TV star wrote: "Timings weather and Mother Nature meant I couldn’t be on the farm for hay making - huge thanks to our team back home for their Olympic effort getting everything in before the Rain came!
"And thanks for all the lovely messages from those of you who’ve been enjoying the gymnastics!!"
