GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes has reportedly had his first tiff with new partner Katie Alexander, and it's linked to Ruth Langsford. The 64 year old embarked on a luxurious cruise with Katie, 42, over the weekend, while Ruth, also 64, returned to ITV on Monday to host Loose Women.

Despite their relationship being in its early stages, reports suggest that the couple have already experienced their first disagreement. Eamonn, who announced his separation from his wife of 14 years in May, has allegedly been limiting his outings with Katie prior to their romantic getaway.

"Katie wants the world to see they're a couple but Eamonn is keeping things low-key at the moment," a source told Women's Own. "Eamonn is excited about their relationship but he wants to stay respectful by not going public yet."

Another insider echoed: "Katie just wants to get it over and done with but Eamonn is less keen because he doesn't want to hurt Ruth's feelings", according to the Mirror.

The former This Morning host was seen at Barcelona port with Katie over the weekend, ready to set sail together. Eamonn was spotted on a mobility scooter while Katie walked alongside him, reports the Daily Record.

After splitting from Eamonn, Ruth Langsford was spotted once again donning her wedding ring, sparking interest and goodwill messages on social media. Taking to Instagram, she made a touching nod towards her ex-husband, showcasing her ring in anticipation of returning as host of an ITV programme.

Viewers of Monday's broadcast reached out across social media platforms, previously known as Twitter, to express their compassion for Ruth as she sparked concern. One worried fan remarked: "Cannot be easy for Ruth when Eamonn features in most newspapers."

Speculations and predictions didn't stop there, with another observer pointing out, "You can tell that Ruth has been hurting from the pictures of Eamonn with her younger blondie, Ruth looks like she has been crying as her eyes looks puffed up," before eagerly anticipating: "I can't wait to see Ruth's new boyfriend #loosewomen."

A tense moment unfolded during the episode when Shayne Ward discussed his Channel 5 series The Good Ship Murder. His attempt at audience engagement with the question, "Who loves being on a cruise? " was met with an abrupt finalisation of the interview by Ruth.
