Katie Price's son Junior parties in London amid famous mum's police struggles

Troubled Katie Price's son Junior, whom she shares with Peter Andre, seemed blissfully unaware of his mum's struggles as he attended a London party on the other side of town.

Junior Andre attended a bash to celebrate three decades of The Fragrance Shop in London on Thursday evening.

However, as he grinned broadly for photos against a backdrop of Strictly-style disco balls and playfully spritzed himself with perfume, his mum Katie Price was being bundled into a police van and remanded in custody. She was arrested for skipping a bankruptcy court hearing and instead leaving the country to have a face lift in Turkey at the reported cost of £10,000.

Aspiring singer Junior, who hopes to follow in his crooner dad Peter Andre's footsteps in showbiz, was soaking up the publicity opportunities at the party venue in Greenwich. The 19-year-old donned wax-coated leather-look trousers and a Death Row Records bomber jacket as he pointed his finger triumphantly at the camera.

However, things weren't running quite so smoothly for Katie, who was nicked upon arrival at Heathrow Airport. In a now deleted Instagram post, she made it clear that she knew beforehand what consequences her decision to have gone to Turkey instead of attending court could have.

She wrote: "I am aware that I am about to be detained at the airport which is obviously what the courts feel is necessary." However, she made a plea on behalf of her disabled eldest son Harvey, whose father is ex-footballer Dwight Yorke.

He is living with autism, visual impairments, as well as the rare genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome, which is linked to obesity, type 2 diabetes, lower IQ and various behavioural issues.

She shared: "I do hope of course for my son's sake who is with me that they will allow some dignity and protection for at least his sake as this will be extremely disturbing for him to see.

"Whilst I understand the importance and severity of the matter I do feel like I am being treated like a criminal."

Meanwhile, she attended court earlier today where she was told in no uncertain terms: "No ifs and no buts, no going abroad and no holidays!"

The 46-year-old told the judge that she couldn't "hear properly or see much" as she appeared in court with black bandages tightly wrapped around her face following the face lift surgery she had in Turkey.

However, she acknowledged the request to attend the next hearing or risk facing jail, vowing: "I'll move my diary for it."

She then followed up by saying she would prefer to attend her next hearing remotely, as she "finds it difficult in court".

The judge advised that she could make a special application to request this and urged her to get herself legal representation - something she has not yet done, after claiming financial hardship.

Meanwhile, Jedward took to social media to urge people to "be kind" as she continues to face struggles.
