Katie Price arrest: What will happen to son Harvey if she goes to prison?

Katie Price, 46, is set to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice today (Friday, July 9) after skipping her £760,000 bankruptcy hearing to jet off to Turkey.

The mother-of-five was pictured next to a police van wearing protective headwear around her plastic surgery wounds at Heathrow Airport during her arrest last night (Thursday, July 8).

It's understood she had been in Turkey to undergo a £10,000 facelift with her partner JJ Slater and her disabled 22-year-old son Harvey.

Harvey suffers from various disabilities including Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism, blindness and septo-optic dysplasia - a condition that affects brain function.

His estranged father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, and Katie claimed last year he'd only seen Harvey "nine times" since he was born.

So what would happen to Harvey if his mother was sent to prison?

Harvey is currently at a £350,000-a-year residential college located three hours away from Katie's £2 million Horsham mansion which she was recently evicted from after being declared bankrupt.

Ahead of the eviction notice, Harvey was reunited with his mother in May who made a video with him where she beamed: "I’ve got my baby bear Harvey home with me."

She tentatively asked him: "Are you back with mummy?" To which a content Harvey replied: "Yeah mum. I love it so much mum, I love you."

She said during the clip she would find him a new college "nearer mummy" in three months.

Katie added: "We've got to find one so you're closer to home because you miss mummy, and West Sussex won't fund you to go to your current one because they have to fund you to go somewhere closer."

Speaking to The Sun in 2022, a source claiming to be close to Katie admitted it would break Harvey's heart "not having her around".

"He would really struggle to understand why she couldn’t visit him," they claimed. "Harvey needs his mum and we're all worrying about who will be there for him."

The comments were made after Katie was found guilty of breaching a restraining order by sending a vile text to her ex-husband Kieran Hayler and his fiancée Michelle Penticost. She avoided jail time.

Just days before her latest arrest, an insider told The Sun Katie was "worried she'll be arrested at the airport when she lands back in the UK and will have to go to jail before the metal staples are taken out of her face".

They also claimed she was concerned about being arrested in front of Harvey as it would "upset her".

A judge said an arrest warrant was not issued "lightly", but stressed Katie had offered only "piecemeal co-operation" and failed to provide the "most basic information" in relation to her bankruptcies.
