Adele confirms engagement to lover Rich Paul as she shares 'personal life' bombshell
Adele revealed her marital status live on stage in Munich as she dropped the ultimate bombshell about when the big day could take place.
Adele and Rich Paul are engaged to be married, the Set Fire To The Rain star has revealed.
A fan's marriage proposal sparked off the revelation, as she answered his query with a cry of: "I can't marry you because I'm already getting married!"
She dropped the bombshell, marking the first time she'd publicly addressed persistent rumours, including some that she had already tied the knot - while on stage in Munich. She had been performing to 75,000 fans in the German city when the subject came up.
Adele had dropped a major hint on social media just days before beginning the first of her ten concert dates. She'd written: "What's going on in my personal life? Nothing because I've been getting ready for this."
The news follows reports that the star is preparing to move back to the UK, after a long two-year stint in Hollywood. She was spotted in London in July and is believed to be considering settling down there and embracing her roots.

A source previously told The Sun: "Adele is a Brit through and through and London will always be her home."
She'd also expressed a desire to have more kids as siblings for son Angelo - and has clarified that she'll be taking an imminent break from music.
The 36-year-old revealed to German broadcaster ZDF that, afrer her Las Vegas residency and Munich dates, she doesn't have "any plans for new music at all".
"I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things," she explained, before adding: "Just for a little while."

There'd been claims that the pair were already engaged or married in recent months, intensified by Adele teasingly calling Rich her "husband" at a Las Vegas show in September.
Prior to that, she'd flashed an impressive looking sparkler on her ring finger on The Graham Norton Show, causing a flurry of speculation.
She also wore what appeared to be an engagement ring at the BRIT Awards back in 2022, but coyly quizzed when asked about it: "Would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?"
Her Munich show marks the first time that the loved up songstress has openly discussed her plans to commit to Rich, a sports agent, through marriage.
