Ruth Langsford still wearing wedding ring after Eamonn ‘girlfriend’ engagement rumours

Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford and her estranged husband Eammon Holmes announced their break-up in May and despite this, they both continue to wear their wedding rings.

The former couple shocked the nation with their split, which came after mounting speculation when fans noticed they hadn’t been spotted together for a while.

Following her return to the ITV panel after a two-month hiatus, Ruth took to Instagram with a mirror selfie from a lift to reveal she had “design meetings all afternoon,” at QVC offices.

However, her wedding ring remained front and centre as she used her left hand to hold up her phone for the snap.

The 64-year-old has also continued to rock the sparkler since returning to the daytime talk show, while she remains tight-lipped about their split.

Ruth looked glamorous in the snap as she wore a white blazer over a striped top, with blue jeans.

She accessorised with dark shades, a burgundy handbag and other jewellery including a stack of bracelets, an Apple watch and rings on her other hand.

This comes after Eammon’s rumoured girlfriend Katie Alexander was also photographed wearing a dazzling band on her ring finger.

Despite this, she has denied it was an engagement ring as a representative told The Sun: “There is no riddle. Ms Alexander is not engaged to Mr Holmes.”

As for their close bond, it was reported that Eammon got close with the counsellor specialising in “affairs and betrayals” months before his marriage split.

The split marked the end of 27 years together and a 14-year marriage of which they welcomed their only child together, a son, Jack 22.

The presenter was said to have moved out of his and Ruth’s marital home after his devastated wife discovered messages between him and another mystery woman.

Katie has excitedly disclosed their previous “close friendship” has “gone up several notches,” sources said.
