Prince Harry's 'key error' condemned as he sparks fury with Queen comment
Prince Harry recently appeared on ITV in a new documentary, Tabloids on Trial, which details his legal battles with the media.
Prince Harry's latest bombshell interview has sparked fury after he made a comment about having conversations with the late Queen Elizabeth II and his battles with the media.
The Duke of Sussex recently sat down with ITV in a new documentary: Tabloids on Trial. During the programme, he claimed that it is "still dangerous" for his wife Meghan Markle to return to the UK. The pair moved to California in June 2020.
He said: "All it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read. Whether it's a knife or acid, these are things that are of genuine concern for me. It's one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country."
Former BBC correspondent Michael Cole reacted to this on GB News, noting the claims Harry had made in his book about "killing 25 Taliban" resulted in Harry "painted a target for life on the back of himself and his family".
He explained: "He compromised his own safety when he said in his book Spare that he'd personally killed 25 Taliban when he was serving with the British Army in Afghanistan. It was a very unwise thing for him to do."

"Saying that he feared for the safety of his wife if she came to this country... they live in California. I'm not sure what the murder rate is there, but that's a more dangerous place than Britain is, any time of the day."
Cole also had a strong reaction to Harry's recollection over a conversation he had with his late grand-mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
He told ITV that they had "many conversations" about his legal battles with the media and claimed that she "very much supported him" and would want him to "see this through to the end".

Former BBC Correspondent Michael Cole has been left fuming over the comment and told GB News that his words had "struck him."
He said: " He invoked the name of the late Queen, saying that he had several conversations with his grandmother, and she'd been very supportive in his battle.
"He sees himself, and it's the word he's used, as a dragon slayer against the tabloid press, and he's continuing with that."
The interview comes after Prince Harry's "monumental" High Court ruling over phone hacking claims. He also revealed that his public court battles against the media was a key reason for the fallout with his family.
He continued: "I have made it very clear that this is something that needs to be done, it would be nice if we did it as a family. It has caused part of a rift."
