John Hunt, who tragically lost his wife and two daughters in a horrifying crossbow attack, has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support he's received. ITV's Mark Chapman, a close friend of the BBC racing commentator, revealed that every message of support "feels like a hug" to Mr Hunt, who is deeply appreciative of the thoughts extended towards him and his surviving daughter, Amy.

The victims, Carol Hunt, 61, Hannah Hunt, 28, and Louise Hunt, 25, are believed to have been found with fatal injuries by their husband and father John - a commentator for BBC Five Live racing - upon his return to their family home in Bushey on June 9. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, all three women tragically died at the scene.

Chapman spoke to the BBC about his conversations with Hunt, sharing that each supportive message feels like a comforting embrace. He added: "As far as what's happened, it's still beyond belief that this could happen to anyone, a family in the world. The message from all of us is when you need us [John], we are here."

Meanwhile, the suspect in the killings, 26 year old Kyle Clifford, has reportedly been left paralysed and has yet to be questioned by police regarding the deaths.

A man accused of a triple murder spree inside a London home has reportedly left himself paralysed by self-inflicted injuries. After an extensive manhunt, the terror suspect was found unconscious in a cemetery in Enfield, London, before being raced to hospital, reports the Mirror.

Herts Police haven't been able to question him over his attacks due to his current medical state. Explaining the delay, a police spokesperson stated to the Mirror: "A suspect remains under arrest and continues to receive treatment in hospital. As a result of his condition officers have not yet been able to interview him. Despite this, detectives from our Major Crime Unit continue with their investigation."

Reports from The Sun suggest that the police are investigating a triple murder in which three women were horrifically killed with a crossbow. Clifford, the perpetrator suffering from severe self-inflicted injuries, is expected never to walk again.

Louise, one of the victims and alleged ex-girlfriend of Clifford, is said to have somehow alerted her partner via text, leading to the call to the police.

Clifford was located at Lavender Hill Cemetery after an extensive manhunt was initiated by the police across Hertfordshire and north London. Dramatic aerial footage from the cemetery captured on the day of the search shows emergency teams gathered around a figure, believed to be Clifford, who is seen stretched out on a gurney.

Leading the procession, three paramedics donned in striking orange hi-vis attire, while officers dressed in black tactical gear escort them, forming a protective detail as they exit the graveyard.

Clifford's military background was brief, having served in the British Army for a short stint in 2022 before his departure. A Whitehall insider disclosed: "He didn't serve very long and he is no longer a serving member of the armed forces".

Following the tragic loss of Carol, Hannah, and Louise, Mr Hunt released a poignant statement expressing "devastation on an unimaginable scale".

He shared: "Notwithstanding the horrid evil that's swept through our lives, wrecking devastation on an unimaginable scale, the counter to that has been the breathtaking messages of support, some of which are still to be read. Amy, my eldest daughter, has been magnificently inspirational with her control and support for me, which I am trying, trying so hard, to replicate. Every message has felt so important, the same as a reassuring hug."
