Kim Kardashian has boldly suggested that she could potentially govern the USA as the nation gears up for the upcoming November election.

During an episode of 'The Kardashians', the 43 year old star expressed her political aspirations after binge-watching a season of The Crown, Netflix's acclaimed drama about the British Royal Family.

Kim, who recently joined the cast of American Horror Story, humorously remarked: "I'm not gonna lie: I just watched the whole season of The Crown. I could fully f***ing rule a country. I learned so much!".

In addition to watching The Crown, Kim revealed that she was embarking on her "actress era", something she hadn't anticipated.

She elaborated: "This year has been so good. I'm entering my actress era. I had no clue this was going to happen. I've taken some time off just to really focus on being the best mom I could be.", reports the Mirror.

"I'm really excited about it. And, again, that confidence that he [Ryan Murphy] believes in me to take this project on means so much to me. And it feels so right as a character that I could be a lawyer in real life and play one on TV."

Kim also disclosed that her sister Kourtney inspired her role in the iconic American TV series. She shared: "I was really channelling my sister Kourtney [Kardashian Barker] and someone that I work with."

"And everyone, when it came out, they were like, 'That is Kris Jenner all the way.' And I was like, 'I guess I had that preparation already, but it's not what I was thinking.' But I so see it now."

The bombshell about Kim's leadership goals dropped mere hours after President Biden explained his decision to bow out of the running for the next term.

From the Oval Office, President Biden delivered his rationale to the nation: "My mission has become clear to me. I need to unite my party in this critical endeavour."

He continued with conviction, "I believe my record as president, my leadership in the world, my vision for America's future all merited a second term. But nothing, nothing, can come in the way of saving our democracy. So, I've decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation. It's the best way to unite our nation."

With a deep sense of patriotism, he added, "It's been the honour of my life to serve as your president. But in the defense of democracy, which is at stake, I think it's more important than any title."

President Biden affirmed his commitment to the nation for his remaining time in office, stating: "I will continue to lower costs for hard-working families and grow our economy. I will keep defending our personal freedoms and our civil rights - from the right to vote - to the right to choose."
