BBC Bargain Hunt presenter Natasha Raskin Sharp issued an update as she shared a rare picture of her baby daughter, Jean.

BBC Bargain Hunt's Natasha Raskin Sharp has been taking a break from work recently as she shared a career update with her fans. The 38-year-old Glaswegian presenter announced that she would soon be back on her radio show after a short hiatus.

As well as presenting on TV, Natasha also hosts a radio show on BBC Radio Scotland, playing an eclectic mix of music - Which she has done since 2017.

Explaining her recent absence, the Scottish host shared a sweet picture to her Instagram account with her 33,000 followers. The image showed her baby daughter, Jean, who she welcomed to the world back in January, with her TV producer husband, Joe.

Captioning the post, the proud mum wrote: "We went on holiday…it was immense! But we’re back and I’m ready for my return to Thursday nights (10pm-midnight) on @bbcradioscot. Join me via @bbcsounds, wherever you are (even if you’re on your hols…)"

Fans were delighted with the update as one said: "It's great baby Jean likes the water she such a cutie." Another added: "Your little girl seems happy to be in the water. She’s really cute."

A third penned: "Jean looks like you Tasha". Someone else said: "Jeanie bambeeenie splashing aboot! Lovely to see."(sic)

They had met on the set of Antiques Roadshow, where Joe was working as a producer and director.

Although they keep their personal life out of the spotlight for the most part, she occasionally offers some insight into their romance.

Natasha announced the arrival of the couple's first child in January, sharing a photo of Jean's tiny hand wrapped around hers.

After returning to work, she told her BBC Radio Scotland listeners: "I should say that I needed those five weeks off to prepare for and adjust to my new life as a mum.

"Joe and I have welcomed a little baby into the world and she's just the best. She already has a favourite song, little Jean Sharp is a David Bowie fan."

Since the birth, Natasha has shared a number of pictures of the baby but often puts emojis over her face to help with protecting her identity and maintaining some privacy.
