Will Mellor's Strictly partner makes 'love' confession as she addresses their 'connection'
EXCLUSIVE: Strictly Come Dancing's Nancy Xu admitted she "never stops" contacting Will Mellor as she opened up about their connection.
Strictly Come Dancing star Nancy Xu looked sensational as she stepped out at the gala night for the theatrical thriller show 2:22 A Ghost Story, donning a glamorous leather ensemble. The 32-year-old pro dancer exclusively opened up about her relationship with Will Mellor to Express.co.uk, after the pair reached the semi-finals back in 2022.
"Am I still in touch with him? Of course - we keep connecting with each other, we never stop," she beamed. "We made friends for life - that's what I wanted!"
Asked whether she would work with him again in the future, she answered without hesitation: "I would love to - I love him!" The pair came tantalisingly close to reaching the finals of the show, until they were eliminated in a last-minute dance-off with Fleur East and Vito Coppola.
Could it be that they will find a new way to collaborate in the months to come? After all, her final dance with Will was 'Don't Forget About Me', perhaps symbolising a hint of things to come.
Nancy first joined the show five years ago, aged 27, and has since partnered with the likes of actor and kids' TV presenter Rhys Stephenson and ex-Family Fortunes host Les Dennis. She's expected to make a sensational return to the 2024 line-up, but no details of who her partner could be have so far been announced.

Will Mellor and Nancy Xu emotional as their Strictly journey ends
Meanwhile, Will was in floods of tears at the time his Strictly stint was coming to an end.
He could be seen on screen insisting: "I'm alright", which he later explained was a message to his kids who were watching at home.
His daughter Renee had been having a watching party with pals and he hadn't wanted her to be alarmed by his outpouring of emotion.
However, it was something that former Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps co-star Ralf Little mercilessly mocked him for at their podcast show in Nottingham.

Revealing that he'd been watching highlights videos rather than the live shows, due to his filming commitments in Guadelope for Death in Paradise, he joked: "All he did was cry!"
However, Will admitted to Rylan on It Takes Two: "I’m just human and if anybody meets me, you get to meet me. I don’t have another person I can put on.
"I was disappointed because I’ve worked so hard and we’ve got so far in a competition. The last thing I wanted to was get it wrong that night!"
