The EastEnders alum has upped his game by posting more family photos on Instagram and has even started his own mini-cooking show.

This has delighted fans as he unveils dishes prepared for Stacey and their kids at their affectionately named Pickle Cottage, a nod to his wife’s term of endearment for their kids.

In his most recent update, the 42-year-old rustled up a family favourite, Toad in the Hole, and guided fans through the recipe before revealing the end product.

He wrote: "Some people have asked about my dad over Father's Day and why I didn't post, I lost my dad when I was 12 and It's still something I haven't quite got over still. BUT this is my dad Ricky! the BEST DAD EVER!!”
