Stacey Solomon says 'sorry' after Joe Swash video sparks concern from followers

Stacey Solomon admitted it had been "the longest day" before making an eyebrow-raising error that had followers fearing for her welfare.

Stacey Solomon fans were left bemused as she wished them a happy Wednesday - 24 hours too early. The Sort Your Life Out star was cradling a duck in her arms at the time, which she was smothering with kisses, while she and Joe Swash discussed their plans to take their birdie brood for a bath.

Although she and Joe have vowed not to have any more human babies, as they already have their hands full with five, the same couldn't be said for their rapidly expanding animal family. The pair recently took in a pair of ducklings at their countryside home in Essex, thanks to former The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman, who gifted them to the couple - and now Stacey is besotted.

She confided to the camera this morning, as she cuddled one of their new pets: "We've already had the longest day and it's gonna be an even longer day." She elaborated: "We did all the school runs and then we had to take [our daughter] Rose for a check-up - and [our other daughter] Belle's had a sore eye so we had to take her to the doctor [too]."

The two youngest additions to the family were having a nap - but Stacey and Joe were planning to spend their downtime giving their new ducks a bath. She initially wished her followers a happy Wednesday, before returning to Instagram to correct her error.

"Sorry I never know what day it is, sorry if I scared anyone!" she joked. Life has certainly been hectic: besides looking after the kids and the animals who call Pickle Cottage home, Stacey is also travelling between Essex, London and Brighton multiple times this week.

Meanwhile, she had to usher one of her sons, Zach, to a suit fitting to prepare him for looking dapper at his school prom, and she's just dropped off "giant" props for a Rehab Your Hair pop-up shop she's working on.

Stacey and Joe are hands-on parents who do the school runs themselves personally, plus she gave herself down-to-earth credentials by doing the Tesco food shop herself.

It's not often that a woman with several million online followers can be found pushing a supermarket trolley up and down the aisles - and one fan bumped into her just as she was filming in the bakery section.

She had a meltdown in the middle of the shop when she spotted her own product range, even resorting to hugging the stand carrying it.

Sharing a snap of herself with the Make Your Home Sparkle range in collaboration with Vanish, she jokily captioned it: "Took a picture of myself hugging this stand. Wow - sometimes I even embarrass myself.

"One day I'll look back and won't even believe this existed," she added.

Meanwhile, it looks like Stacey has designs on returning to a simpler style of life, after things got so hectic that she became confused over what day it was.

She recently announced her plans to step back from television, despite hugely popular stints on Loose Women and Sort Your Life out, so that she can work from home.

She intends to focus on raising her family by taking on remote work only in the near future - unless an extra-special "passion project" comes up.
