Death in Paradise star alarmed as he's reunited with character after move away from show

Ralf Little has admitted he felt "weird" after being faced with his character months after he exited Death in Paradise.

Ralf Little got candid about being reunited with his Death in Paradise character Detective Inspector Neville Parker months after his departure.

Since his arrival on the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie in 2020, Parker instantly became a beloved addition to the cast.

Viewers also shared their love for Little on social media for portraying the introverted, yet genius DI and were heartbroken after his exit.

As a result, many were amused to see the actor come face-to-face with his character during a recent flight.

Little took to Instagram with a clip where he panned across the plane and revealed the BBC drama was being advertised on the TV screen before showing his shocked expression.

His character was on the screen representing Death in Paradise alongside other shows as he admitted: “This will never not be weird.”

Taking to the comments, @juanita.vicky25 wrote: “It was shown especially for you, Neville never forgotten.”

As another fan @storey_paula remarked: “Not going to paradise by any chance?”

While @mhartain shared: “We're gonna miss you! I hope your future endeavours are hugely successful!.”

After the season 13 finale, Little took to social media to bid farewell to the show and thank fans: “I just wanna say an enormous thank you to everyone who watched and supported the show when I arrived four and a half years ago.

“I knew I had big shoes to fill, and coming into a series beloved by millions, including me, was a huge responsibility.”

The actor continued: “What’s next for the show? I couldn’t even tell you if I did know. But I don’t know.

“But I do know that the team that makes it know what they’re doing. The future is in good hands. And I’ll be watching series 14 along with you guys and I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
