Taylor Swift teases release of new music video

Taylor Swift has been taking her highly-anticipated Eras Tour across the globe and June 7 marks its UK premiere in Edinburgh, Scotland

However, UK fans are getting a very different show to those who attended abroad as the world-renowned pop star has reconfigured her setlist, restructured her staging and made some bombshell opening act changes.

Just last month the 34-year-old kicked off the European leg of her tour in Paris, marking her first show since her latest album The Tortured Poets Department was released, forcing some major changes to the setlist and staging to incorporate her latest Era.

However, there could be even more changes in store for UK fans as the Grammy winner is now touring the home country of Matty Healy, which some of the TTPD tracks are rumored to be about.

Fans have compared the dramatic staging of the TTPD Era to the theatrics of The 1975’s lead singer Matty, who was rumored to have a summer romance with Taylor last year, and some claim there could be new easter eggs included as a nod to their fling

Elsewhere, Taylor has also taken on a new attitude when it comes to her opening acts as her three London shows will see a different face on stage each night.

Throughout the tour, the 34-year-old has kept the same opening act for each night she’s at one location, with Sabrina Carpenter opening throughout the Asia and Australia section while Paramore has been the only openers in the European leg so far.

However, when the Eras Tour lands in London, Paramore will be joined by American singer Mette Towley for the first night, Sarah ‘Griff’ Griffiths on the second and ending the run with American Idol star Benson Boone.

As for the setlist, the confirmed changes so far have seen six TTPD tracks making up the Era just before the surprise song section of the evening, which Taylor has also switched up.

So far this Era has included fan favorites like Fortnight and I Can Do It with a Broken Heart but this came at the cost of iconic classics like The Archer, Invisible String and Tolerate It.

Additionally, since her Paris shows, the surprise acoustic set now includes mash-ups, treating concert-goers with up to four songs in the quick set while Taylor has also started repeating songs, leaving fans completely in the dark as to what she might perform.
