The 29-year-old singer shared a heartfelt Instagram post this week, including a montage of her struggle with illness.

Leukemia is a type of blood cancer, and Blood Cancer UK warns many people living with the disease don't realise this and miss out on essential treatment and support.

The pop sensation also announced that she will be supporting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance by donating proceeds from her latest single, although she stopped short of revealing her specific condition.

In a candid video, Halsey is seen massaging her legs, lamenting, "I feel like an old lady. I told myself I'm giving myself two more years to be sick.

"At 30, I'm having a rebirth and I'm not gonna be sick and I'm gonna look super hot and have lots of energy and I'm just gonna get to re-do my 20s in my 30s."
