Rita Ora suffered a blush-worthy mishap during her Mighty Hoopla performance on Sunday, leaving the songstress somewhat embarrassed.

The hitmaker was delivering an electrifying performance ahead of Jessie Ware, thrilling the crowd with top tracks like Ritual, Your Song, and I Will Never Let You Down.

Her dynamic presence had the Brockwell Park audience in London utterly spellbound.

But a slight hiccup occurred when Rita, eager to engage with her fans at the barrier, mixed up her lyrics during an acapella rendition of Anywhere.

The 33-year-old star ventured in front of the barrier, showcasing her impressive vocals, and asked the crowd, "Do you know the lyrics?"

After handing over the mic to a fan who proclaimed their love for her, Rita began singing: "Cause I might hate myself tomorrow," only to stop short, realising her mistake, and exclaiming: "Oh that's the wrong song!"

"It's absolutely not going to happen," she later quipped, returning to the stage amidst a wave of laughter from her fans and herself.

The hilarious incident sparked a flurry of tweets, with one fan writing: "Rita Ora trying to find ANYONE in the front row to sing her song acapella is one the best most embarrassing things I've ever seen OMG then she sang the wrong song."

"Highlight honestly," chimed in another. "So damn funny. But also all I could think was... I only know parts of that song. Would have died if she came to me," a third fan tweeted, reports the Mirror.

While Rita has yet to comment on the awkward moment, she did share clips from fans who were present at the event on her Instagram page.

The amusing incident occurred after Rita unveiled her latest single, Ask and You Shall Recieve, which is part of an album yet to be announced. She described the song, co-written by her "little sister" RAYE, as having a "cheeky flirtation" and being a "natural, fun record".

In an interview with The Independent about her forthcoming music, the singer-actress shared: "Things are starting to happen and evolve, and it feels to me like my world is getting a bit darker, a bit more moody, and it's going to lead people into the next phase of my music."
