After getting into some heated debates while living together on last year's I'm A Celebrity, Fred Sirieix has taken to social media to slam his co-star Nigel Farage.

Nigel, 60, is the leader of the UK Reform Party and is gearing up for the General Election on 4 July, and has been dividing voters' opinions with his choice of words.

Now Fred, 52, has shared his own viewers as he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday afternoon to share his thoughts with his followers.

He penned: "I spoke at length and extensively with Nigel Farage for 3 weeks while in the jungle. I wanted to make my own mind up about him and his views.

"Conclusion is simple. He was very good at washing the dishes in the river but when it comes to politics he has no plan and no substance."

In a second tweet, the First Dates star said: " No vision. No concrete policies. He is not interested in making the UK / the world a better place. He just rants."

Fred's followers were left divided over his opinions as one person wrote: " Nigel Farage getting destroyed by Fred Sirieix is something I never thought I would see today."

Another said: "So funny, I was thinking only this morning ‘I wonder what Fred thinks about all this’. You saw him in a different way to most and have the same conclusions!"

However, somebody jumped to Nigel's defence and exclaimed: "He beat you and came third, at least we know who’s more popular with the public."

Someone else wrote: "Well I certainly don’t see any other politician naming and confronting the issues facing the UK as effectively as Nigel right now."

In one episode of I'm A Celebrity, Fred challenged Nigel on Brexit as the politician said: "When I first put myself up, I said, 'Do you know what? I don't even care if no one votes for me, I feel better about myself for doing this - I believe I'm doing the right thing."

"The thing is Nigel, you destroyed the economy," Fred shot back. "That's absolute s***," Nigel fumed, adding: "Have a look at the German economy, the French economy."

"One thing they said in the Brexit vote is, 'We're going to give £350million a week to the NHS and build new hospitals, have free care and all that' - never happened." Express.co.uk have contacted Nigel's representative for a comment.
