Clarkson Farm fans react to Jeremy after former Top Gear star drops BBC bombshell
Jeremy Clarkson had fans saying the same thing as the presenter made a surprise admission about the much-loved series Clarkson's Farm.
Jeremy Clarkson reacted to a social media user after they questioned why the BBC didn't pick up the popular Prime series. The popularity of Clarkson's Farm has seen thousands of visitors descend on Diddly Squat Farm.
Season three of Clarkson's Farm arrived on Prime Video in early May. Viewers saw the challenges Jeremy and his team, including girlfriend Lisa Hogan and farmer Kaleb Cooper, face as they provided a rare insight into British farming.
Taking to X to answer questions from fans about the popular show, in a now-deleted post one commentator asked if Jeremy, 64, had pitched Clarkson's Farm to the BBC. The broadcaster dropped the former Top Gear presenter in 2015 following an altercation with a producer and did not renew his contract. His co-stars Richard Hammond and James May also left the programme and the trio went on to star in The Grand Tour.
In response to the query, Jeremy claimed: "Actually they turned it down because the production office was in London. Not sure why that was an issue."
Social media users reacted as one person wrote: "If Clarkson's Farm was on mainstream TV it would hands down be the most successful/watched show in the world. Of course, the BBC passed it up."
Another penned: "Would have meant leaving the London bubble! Much enjoying #ClarksonsFarm3 by the way!"
A third shared: "I bet they’re regretting that decision now."
"Class show and Amazon I hope are reaping the benefits. It’s unmissable watching in our house," a fourth commented.

The first series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 11 June 2021. Clarkson's Farm will return for series 4, with Jeremy and the streaming service confirming this news.

Jeremy, Lisa, Kaleb and the rest of the team are filming for the next series now, which means we can hope to see them back on our screens at some point in 2025.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the presenter recently said: "We’re doing season four now. And every single day we meet for filming, we have a vague idea about what I need to do, but I can guarantee it will change because the weather has changed, or some fence will have fallen down… and you never know what you’re going to end up doing. As long as you get content, it doesn’t matter what it is."
All eight episodes of Clarkson's Farm series three are now on Prime Video to stream.
