Times Radio political editor Kate McCann has bravely shared her terrifying experience of having her drink spiked by a "brazen" group of men during a night out.
The 35-year-old broadcaster took to social media platform X (Twitter), to recount the chilling incident in response to an article highlighting the alarming rise in drug-spiking incidents across the country.
Kate, who was TalkTV's political editor from 2022 until 2023, wrote: "I had my drink spiked in a bar by a group of men so brazen they didn't care who saw. A colleague spotted them, and thought we'd be OK as I'd only had one sip but sadly it was enough.
“It was awful and I was lucky. Still don't understand why they did it. It's SO scarily common."
