Shocking news of Robin's passing came in the early hours of this morning, triggering an outpouring of empathetic messages from fellow Strictly stars including James Jordan, who paid his respects shortly after the tragic news broke.
Tributes have also started to pour in beneath Robin's chilling final Instagram post, which featured him wearing all black against a dark wall. The post from three weeks ago was captioned: "Hiding in the shadows."

A fan revealed in their response just how much the star had touched people's lives right until the end, stating they had the honour of sharing a dance with him only two weeks ago at a cha cha cha class.

Deborah Meaden, a star of Dragons' Den, revealed on January 29 that her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Robin Windsor had met her elderly mother in South Africa.
She shared the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: "11 years after we did @bbcstrictly together this happens and it is just lovely!! The wonderful @Robinwindsor and my Mum ( yep...87 years and amazing!!) meeting up in South Africa...don't you just love it!!" Robin showed his appreciation by adding three heart emojis and resharing Deborah's post.
The sad news of Robin's passing was announced by dance company Burn The Floor on Facebook early Tuesday morning. They told fans: "The Burn the Floor family has lost one of its founding members, Robin 'Bobby' Windsor - who has tragically passed away."
They continued: "A BTF journeyman, he danced with us for twenty years - including Broadway, The West End and all our crazy adventures around the world. His stunning image attached with Jessica Raffa defined our company, colourful, extreme and sensual. His talent, attitude, energy and personality helped create the Burn the Floor stage reputation.
"He leaves a void in our hearts that will never be filled, yet our wonderful memories will stay forever." No further details surrounding his tragic death have been confirmed.
