Actress Priyanka Chopra, 39, has spoken out after fans speculated she had split from singer Nick Jonas, 29, when she changed her Instagram name from 'Priyanka Chopra Jonas' back to 'Priyanka Chopra' in November.
In a new interview, Chopra dismissed divorce rumours and said it is “very vulnerable” knowing that “people are going to speculate”.
She told Vanity Fair: “It’s a very vulnerable feeling, actually, that if I post a picture, everything that’s behind me in that picture is going to be zoomed in on, and people are going to speculate.
“It’s just a professional hazard... Because of the noise of social media, because of the prevalence that it has in our lives, I think it seems a lot larger than it is.
“I think that we give it a lot more credence in real life, and I don’t think it needs that.”

“But we have set real boundaries around our personal lives, our privacy, and worked really hard to create that little safe haven for ourselves with our friends and family.”
At the time, Priyanka appeared to attempt to put rumours to bed by leaving a flirtatious comment on her husband’s social media.
She told the publication: “[Children] are a big part of our desire for the future.
When probed as to whether the couple’s busy schedules could get in the way of trying for a baby, Priyanka cheekily insisted: “No, we are not too busy to practice.”

Last month, Priyanka discussed how the couple had a “tough year” due to the Covid pandemic and long-distance.
Speaking on InStyle’s Ladies First podcast, she explained: “This year has been really, really tough.
However, she said their relationship remains strong because they “talk all the time” and “prioritise each other” in everything they do.
Priyanka continued: “It's very important to keep a check on the other person's heart... You just have to prioritise each other and then everything feels right.
"I have to say, my husband's amazing at doing that.
