Piers Morgan, 56, has taken to Instagram to share a snap of his preparations ahead of his last Life Stories episode. The former Good Morning Britain presenter admitted that wrapping up the talk show could be “quite emotional”.
In the poignant post, Piers also commended his fellow broadcaster and former co-host Kate Garraway, 54, who will take over the hosting role until the end of the series.
Piers hosted Life Stories for 12 years before stepping down.
He quit a few months after his explosive exit from ITV's GMB, which occurred following a row over Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In view of his 1.8 million Instagram followers, Piers typed: “Final prep for my final Life Stories which is being filmed today.
“Can’t think of anyone I would rather do it with than my great friend @kategarraway.
“Suspect it will get quite emotional up at Elstree Studios this afternoon.”
The message was accompanying a photograph that featured a cup of coffee and the script for the show.
Fans of the broadcasters took to the post’s comments section to heap praise on the presenting pair.
