Paddy McGuinness says Top Gear co-host Chris Harris is having 'midlife crisis' in video
PADDY MCGUINNESS, who presents Top Gear, playfully mocked his co-star Chris Harris online yesterday as they reunited at the BBC show's test track.
Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuiness joined his co-star Chris Harris on set yesterday to film scenes for the popular car show. The television star playfully mocked his pal on camera one year after the BBC programme addressed bullying claims.
In the social media footage, Paddy, 46, filmed his co-star as they took a break between takes in Dunsfold and drew attention to his outfit choice.
The presenter took issue with Chris' brightly coloured trainers and joked that he was having a "midlife crisis".
Paddy wrote on Instagram, in view of his 1.6 million followers: "Nice to see @harrismonkey [Chris Harris] taking full ownership of his midlife crisis."
"That footwear is the direct result of Timmy Mallet and a Storm Trooper having sex," he joked before signing off with the hastags: "#wednesday #midlifecrisis #topgear #notsotopgear #timmymallet #staysafe."

"You love ‘em Pad!" Chris hit back in the comments section.
"Before you panned up I was expecting those shoes to be on a toddler," remarked a cheeky social media user.
"I thought exactly the same hahaha," agreed another.
A third fan said: "[They] Look like something from Back to the Future."

Yesterday, Chris documented his return to the Top Gear test track after a "long, long time" on social media.
The 45-year-old car enthusiast, who has presented the show since 2016, called it his "happy place".
This time last year, the BBC addressed viewers concerns that Chris was being bullied by his co-stars on the programme.
The scene in question showed Freddie Flintoff smashing a watermelon onto Chris' head.
The BBC told Express.co.uk at the time that they do not condone bullying on or off screen.
“Top Gear’s producers do not, and never will condone bullying in any shape or form – on or off screen," they said.
“As we hope the series has demonstrated so far - Paddy, Freddie and Chris have become true friends who enjoy teasing each other relentlessly during every challenge the producers set them.”
