Alison Hammond took to Instagram and shared her heartbreak as she revealed she's unable to attend her dad's funeral. The tragic loss of her father Clifford Hammond comes just four months after her mum died following a battle with liver and lung cancer.
In view of her 637,000 Instagram followers, she wrote: "This is my real Dad Clifford Hammond who passed away last week in Jamaica.
"I’m saddened that I won’t be able to make his funeral and saddened that he wasn’t part of my life as much as I would have liked but I still have a sense of loss and emptiness.
"Sleep well Daddy, love leaves a memory no one can steal. RIP."
She also shared a picture of her dad via her Instagram stories which was captioned: "My Daddy RIP."

Celebrity pals and fans alike flocked to comment on the sad news, with many offering their condolences.
This Morning star Ruth Langsford penned: "Sad to hear that darling....sending you love & a huge hug," followed by heart emoji.
Holly Willoughby wrote: "Alison... sending you so much love."
Alison's colleague Eamonn Holmes offered prayer hand emojis, while singer Peter Andre sent his "love".
Fans also offered heartfelt tributes, as one person said: "I am so sorry for your loss."
Another social media user commented: "Sorry for your loss, especially in these sad times."
While a third person added: "You will always have memories. Try and save the best ones in your heart."
The shock news comes just months after Alison lost her mum back in February after a long illness, and she dedicated Valentine's Day to her.
The This Morning star, who hails from Birmingham, took to Twitter and shared an emotional message at the time of her mum's death.
Alison said: "I am dedicating this Valentines to my beautiful mother who sadly passed away from liver and lung cancer.
"My family and I layed mummy to rest yesterday in a beautiful ceremony which I know she would have loved."
She concluded: "RIP my best friend and Living Angel please come to my dreams."
Alison is a regular fixture on the ITV daytime show This Morning alongside Holly, Eamonn, Ruth and Phillip Schofield.
She is a mum to 13-year-old Aiden, although she likes to keep her family life out of the spotlight.
Alison was previously married to her husband Noureddine Boufaied, who she shares her son with.
She previously spoke to The Sun in 2018 about "trying to find that balance is hard, sometimes I don't get it completely right".
