Emma Barton: EastEnders' Honey Mitchell details why she's had a 'worrying' 48 hours
EMMA BARTON, best known for playing Honey Mitchell in EastEnders, took to Instagram today to give her followers an update after a "worrying 48 hours".
EastEnders star Emma Barton has had a worrying two days, according to her latest social media post.
The 42-year-old actress took to Instagram to give her fans an update, revealing her beloved pooch had eaten something she shouldn't have.
The soap star, who joined the BBC cast back in 2005, posted a picture of her dog Poppy online this morning and opened up about her ordeal.
In her snap, the adorable pup could be seen standing in the shade during a walk through the park on a sunny day.
Emma said it had been a worrying time since an incident occured and thanked her vet for coming to the rescue.
She then reassured fans that her pet was now "on the mend".
The Strictly Come Dancing star told her 122,000 followers: "Poppy dog finally on the mend after a worrying 48 hours."
Sharing a bit more information, Emma went on to say: "Little thing ate something she shouldn't on our walk!"
"God knows what it was," she added.
Thanking her local vet, the actress continued: "Thank you to our amazing vet... Andy West @vets4pets Waterlooville! She adores you."
Emma, who lives in the countryside with her beloved dog, recently revealed she was single.
At the start of the year, the BBC star, who appeared on the latest series of Strictly with Anton Du Beke and then danced with fellow professional dancer Graziano Di Prima during the Live! tour, told The Mirror that she wasn't seeing anyone and gave an unlikely reason why.
The actress divulged to the publication: "I'm not dating anyone at the minute.
"No wonder I'm still single, actually. I have the worst wind ever."
