Louise Minchin: 'Somehow she managed to tame it' Dan Walker posts unlikely snap of co-host
LOUISE MINCHIN, presenter of BBC Breakfast, appeared to suffer from a bad hair day this morning ahead of her stint on live TV. Her co-star Dan Walker posted a picture online but assured fans she did manage to "tame" it in the nick of time.
BBC Breakfast star Louise Minchin took to Instagram this morning to share a snap from her dressing room as she struggled to do her hair ahead of her stint on TV.
The 51-year-old presenter looked a world away from her normal well-groomed appearance with her hair standing on end in the picture.
Alongside the unruly image, she humorously wrote: "Good Morning, doing my hair, went really well this morning!!"
Poking fun at the host, Louise's co-star Dan Walker, 43, also posted the picture on his own social media account.
He told his 122,000 Instagram followers: "Somehow @louiseminchin managed to tame this today."
Instagram users and fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts and sympathise with the presenter's hair plight.
One follower simply said: "I feel your pain."
Others were quite impressed with the BBC star's handiwork, with one fan revealing: "Just said to my husband how nice Louise’s hair looks today."
Another fan remarked: "Wow! U have fabulous hair xxx."(sic)
By the time the live show went on air Louise's tresses looked as beautiful as ever.
The BBC star styled her shoulder-length blonde locks in a chic straight style with a soft fringe.
She wore a white round-neck blazer and smart black trousers for her stint on TV.
Louise and Dan are not the only presenters to do their own hair and make-up for television appearances this month.
Many famous faces have been forced to get themselves camera ready after production staff, stylists and hair and make-up teams were sent home to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
Last week saw Good Morning Britain hosts Kate Garraway and Piers Morgan take to social media to share behind-the-scenes dressing room snaps.
This Morning stars Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were also forced to do their own hair and make-up.
