Chris Evans: Virgin Radio Breakfast Show host 'wells up' in talk with ex Billie Piper
CHRIS EVANS, the Virgin Radio Breakfast host, said he was “welling up” over his ex-wife Billie Piper when she revealed she got a “standing ovation” at the Venice film festival.

Billie said she “cried her eyes out” at the premiere for ‘Wild Beasts’. Alongside starring in the film, Billie also wrote and directed it. The film had it’s world premiere at the Venice film festival earlier this summer on August 31.
Chris asked his ex-wife and guest on his morning radio show what happened during the festival.
She said: “So we go over and we’re in Venice, so that's amazing.
“You get dressed up and you go and watch your film with an audience of hardcore film goers.”
The actress added: “Not necessarily critics, but people who love film and have come to the festival.”

Billie also added many Italians also come to the event.
She went on to describe how her film received a great response from audiences.
The actress said: “We got this standing ovation.”
Chris was very pleased for her, saying: “Did you really?
“Oh my goodness I didn’t know that.”
Billie replied: “It was so lovely, I cried my eyes out.”
Chris added: “You cried? I’m welling up for you now.”
Billie and Chris married in May 2001, the couple separated in 2004 and divorced in 2007.
Despite divorcing, the two have remained friends.
Billie began dating Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd in 2016.
She gave birth to their first daughter, Tallulah, earlier this year.
Chris married Natasha Shishmanian in 2007, the couple have four children together.
