DISCO diva Diana Ross reigned supreme in a voluminous dress as she celebrated her 75th diamond birthday.

True to form, the Motown legend arrived in dramatic fashion, wearing a burnt orange ruffled gown and there was so much of it she had to be helped out of the open-top car. It was the first of many outfits donned by the ex-Supremes front-woman at the Warwick nightclub in Los Angeles on Tuesday. She dazzled in a sparkling mirrored gown, a sequinned turquoise frock, a bright red ballgown and a slinky black number with pink feathered stole.
Pop star Beyonce serenaded Diana with her 1970 hit Ain't No Mountain High Enough and called her "Ms Ross" during a rendition of Happy Birthday.
Other famous faces included singer and actress Bette Midler, rapper Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs and Diana's five children and five grandchildren.
Diana tweeted: "Hooray!!
Choosing love and life. 75 is a good number.
"I'd like to continue feeling good like this forever LOVE appreciation to all."
She later told fans: "I am basking in the delight of the deliciousness of this amazing moment in my life, I thank you all with a huge heart. Your love keeps me going."
Diana also marked her birthday with a new documentary, Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy.
The film features footage from her 1983 concert in New York's Central Park when she performed to a record-breaking audience of 450,000 amid a raging thunderstorm.
