RACHEL RILEY, who presents Countdown on Channel 4, jokingly urged her 624,000 followers not to listen to HBO series Game Of Thrones after she put one of her eye-grabbing dresses up for an auction.

Rachel Riley, 33, kindly donated a yellow dress which she famously wore on the Channel 4 show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown in a bid to raise funds for Barnardo's. Denise Else commented: “Thank you @RachelRileyRR for donating this dress to auction. “All proceeds will go to Barnardo's in memory of my friend Karen Adcock Doyle. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273695976541 … @RachelRileyFC @barnardos.” Rachel’s dress is currently on Ebay for £74, with 22 bidders at present.
Don’t listen to Game of Thrones - Summer is coming
The maths whizz shared the tweet commenting that the bright-coloured dress is good for the summer and not to listen to Game Of Thrones’ famous punchline winter is coming.
She wrote: “Hope it raises loooooads for them!!! It’s perfect for February... (don’t listen to Game of Thrones - Summer is coming).”
Rachel’s comment received many comments from her followers.
One user commented: “No need to drag GOT into this... but u r right lol.”(sic)
A second added: “Beautiful dress hope it raises a tidy sum.”
A third wrote: “That dress is beautiful, wouldn't fit me in a million years but hope it raises loads too.”
A fourth user penned: “Good luck with it!”
Last month, Rachel celebrated her 10th anniversary on the daytime show after replacing Carol Vorderman in 2009.
The blonde beauty, who is in a relationship with Pasha Kovalev, was gifted with a personalised card and flowers from her team including Nick and Susie Dent.
Last week, Rachel spoke out on whether she had thought about leaving the show following her decade.
She exclusively told Express.co.uk, she would love to stay on the show for as long as possible.
She said: “However long they will have me!
“It’s been on air 26 years before I had joined. So 10 years down, how many more they’ll have me to go!”
Rachel went on to gush over her work colleagues adding: “They’re great, really supportive.
“Susie and I went on a girls trip to Dublin at the end of last year.”
Countdown airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 2.10pm.
