The Loose Women beauty, 38, said her childhood consisted of “violent and horrific” memories and admitted she hated the weekends as her parents would often be drunk.
The model has since retracted her comments, saying she sensationalised some of the content for the book.
She told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine: “It's probably the thing I'm least proud of in my life.
“I felt like I had to sensationalise my life more than it was."
I think it was a bad move. I kind of regret my autobiography.
Kelly added she wasn’t “true” to herself and regrets airing out her “dirty laundry”.
Kelly revealed: "I probably wasn't that true to myself.
“I’m not saying it never happened, but it's not really my upbringing to air all my dirty laundry like that.
"I think it was a bad move. I kind of regret my autobiography.”
Within her 2014 book, Kelly said: “My parents would spend too long in the pub, come home p***ed and eat the burnt Sunday lunch.
“Then there would be a fight and police would be called or my dad would drive off in his truck.”
Speaking of another situation, Kelly revealed her father “started throwing furniture around” while her and her mother “huddled away”.
She divulged: “My mother, Sandra, called the police and my dad, Kenneth, tried to climb out of the window to escape.
“He broke his leg trying to avoid them and they had to carry him down the stairs.”
Kelly also gave readers in-depth detail about her past relationships.
The brunette beauty admitted she hit two of her ex-boyfriends, Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani.
Explaining the encounter with the actor, she said: “Jason started to swing his hips from side to side and do a little jive with his arms, saying: ‘Gywnnie, Gwynnie, Gwynnie. Sexy, sexy, sexy!’.”
She added: “He turned round, only to be met with my fist in his face.”
Kelly also admitted she punched Danny in the face after he reportedly gave his number to a stripper.
She later spilled of the rugby player: “As I headed back to the table, I saw Danny walking towards me. ’Babe,' he said, ‘I’ve been looking for you’.”
“I punched him straight in the face.”
A year after releasing her candid book, Kelly began dating French model Jeremy Parisi.
Kelly is believed to have met the hunk after she approached him for fitness advice.
Earlier this year, Kelly admitted she was keen to marry her beau and spilled she has already proposed unofficially.
She told Now Magazine: “I thought it would be the perfect moment but it wasn’t – we were surrounded by tourists!”
Weeks after the interview, Kelly seemingly changed her mind as she admitted she was unsure if she wanted to get married.
When quizzed about marriage on Loose Women, she said: “I like the companionship but I don't know if I want the whole thing. It’s complicated.”
She added: “I’ve bought my house, I don't want to give half of that away if it doesn't work out.”
