Ice cream and slide
ArcelorMittal Orbit’s The Slide is about to become the first attraction in the world to offer ‘Ice Scream’.
Next Saturday July 29, riders will be given free ice cream specially created to enhance their thrill seeking experience.
The ice cream contains five sensory stimulants including adrenalin-boosting caffeine, cocoa nibs, black walnut and chocolate to heighten sense perception and a pinch of espresso to increase heart rate as riders zoom down the 178m slide.
Giant Snail Tour in the park
From July right through until the end of August, the Giant Snail will be touring the Royal Parks of London as part of Mission Invertebrate.
Greenwich Park, Richmond Park, Hyde Park and The Regent’s Park will all be visited by the mollusc-themed attraction.
