A MISERABLE day on foot turned into a magical opportunity for one photographer
It was a grim November day in Worcester.
The stunning landscape of the Malvern Hills was covered by a thick blanket of grey.
But one photographer saw a brilliant opportunity.
Dave Bright took a helicopter over the Worcestershire beacon to capture images of the topography while shrouded in clouds.
The stunning images were taken using a drone set 300 feet above the hills
When through the fog, Dave saw the entire countryside enveloped in a sea of mist.
The stunning images were taken using a drone set 300 feet above the hills.
Simply awe-inspiring, the photographs show the mystical fog rolling across the incredible landscape.
Dave said: "Down below in the fog, it was such a miserable day, but as soon as I got above the beacon it was so warm and sunny."

At that point the photographer knew the images were going to be brilliant.
"I could see all of the fog rolling across the countryside below with just the top of the beacon sticking through.
"I had wanted to get some photos of the fog, but knew the only way to get a good shot was to get as high up as possible and then fly the drone to get an aerial shot.
"The images I got were during the afternoon – it was just such a different day when you got up to the beacon compared with down below."
