England's Group D opponents Costa Rica lose Heiner Mora to injury
ENGLAND'S World Cup opponents Costa Rica have suffered an injury blow after Heiner Mora was ruled out of the tournament.
The wing-back, 29, felt a sharp pain in training on Tuesday and scans revealed he had sustained a stress fracture of his right heel in the 1-1 friendly draw with the Republic of Ireland last week.
Defender Mora has been replaced in Jorge Luis Pinto's 23-man squad by Dave Myrie.
Costa Rica face England on June 24 in Belo Horizonte.
