UFC News - Conor McGregor 'accepts' Khabib Nurmagomedov fight
Conor McGregor has accepted an October bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov, according to a sensational report from RT.
“Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor has accepted a fight date for a proposed bout with Russia’s Khabib Nurmagomedov, which the UFC proposes to stage in Las Vegas on October 6th, according to RT Sport’s source,” an excerpt of their report read.
“While it’s not clear at this point if the fight is going to happen in October or not, as both sides have yet to accept conditions, RT Sport’s source, who is familiar with the situation, reports that the Notorious Irishman is willing to square off with the undefeated lightweight champion and has given his ‘yes’ in negotiations with the UFC.
“Among reported options for the fight, which might become one of the biggest in the promotion's history, there are also December 30 in Las Vegas and November 3 in New York’s Madison Square Garden, which Nurmagomedov is aiming for.”

UFC News - Darren Till lifts lid on welterweight title shot
Darren Till has revealed he was offered a shot at UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley by the promotion’s president, Dana White.
“(UFC President) gave it to me,” Till told MMANytt’s Jim Edwards when discussing his title shot. “What do you want me to do? Just say no? Go, ‘Dana, it’s fine, I don’t want that title shot.
“‘Give it to someone else if they deserve it.’”

UFC News - Colby Covington’s coach slams Darren Till’s title shot
Colby Covington’s head coach Mike Brown believes Till’s upcoming title shot is ‘devaluing’ belts.
“I’m pretty bummed about it,” Brown said of Covington, the interim welterweight champion, missing out on the Woodley fight in an interview with MMA Fighting.
“I just feel like its devaluing the belts. You can’t just make every fight a title fight if it doesn’t go your way.
“It just doesn’t seem right, it doesn’t seem like it’s good for long-term value for the titles. That’s a big problem.
"That’s the bottom line, I think they’re devaluing the belts. Everybody sees it.”
