Nate Diaz receives huge call out from Anthony Pettis: F**k the Diaz brothers
NATE DIAZ has found himself on the receiving end of yet another big call out.
The youngest Diaz brother has been called out by a plethora of lightweights during his time on the sidelines but has yet to have been lured back to the cage.
And now that list can boast the name of former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.
‘Showtime’ made his desire to face Diaz known on Twitter in the early hours of the morning and fired a big shot at the Stockton native and his elder brother Nick.
He tweeted: “Yo @ALIAQUINTA I’m down 2 Fight @ufc said you are out indefinitely @NateDiaz209 what’s up don’t be scared homie #teampettis #f**kthediazbrothers @danawhite.”
Diaz, 33, hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since his UFC 202 bout with Conor McGregor, which he lost via majority decision.
Many have attributed Diaz’s 23-month-long hiatus from the cage down his desire to have a trilogy fight with McGregor, who he defeated at UFC 196 in March 2016.
Diaz recently insisted that’s not the case, claiming he’s waiting for someone to whet his competitive juices.

Nate Diaz, what’s up? Don’t be scared homie.
“What people don’t understand is that any fight I fight is going to be a money fight,” Diaz told MMA Junkie.
“I’m not waiting for anybody. I’m just waiting for a motherf****r to do something. Let’s get a real fight going.
“I’m not going to be involved in no weak s**t.”
One man who has been immensely frustrated by Diaz’s sabbatical is UFC president Dana White, who has claimed the promotion have offered the Ultimate Fighter season five winner multiple fights since his rematch with ‘The Notorious’.
“We’ve been offering Nate Diaz fights for however long,” White said during an appearance on the UFC Unfiltered podcast.
“In his contract - and Nick Diaz’s - I have to give them three fights a year. Per the contract, I need to give them three fights a year.
“If I fail to give them three fights a year, I have to pay them.
"I have honoured my contract with those guys, they keep turning down the fights, which extends the contracts.
“But, we’re working right now to try put together a Georges St-Pierre versus Nate Diaz fight.”
