UFC News - Conor McGregor fight rumour dismissed
Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos has dismissed claims he was offered the opportunity to fight Conor McGregor at UFC 224.
"Not that I know (of),” the Brazilian told the assembled media at the UFC 225 open workout.
"I heard some rumours that the UFC were trying to do that announcement in New York in the last press conference.
"But the UFC did not contact me directly to talk about this fight."

UFC News- Dana White sends warning to fighters
UFC president Dana White has warned fighters on the roster that they risk being cut from the promotion if they continuously turn down fights.
“Listen, I get into these things where this is the fight business and the UFC is the elite of the elite in mixed martial arts,” White said on the most recent episode of the UFC Unfiltered Podcast.
“You get into these situations where you get these guys that don’t want to fight certain people and if you don’t want to fight certain people, this probably isn’t the place for you.“
“I’m looking for people that want to be world champions, that want to f***ing fight the best in the world, and if you’re not that guy, then there’s plenty of other places where you can go and make money. This place isn’t for you.”

UFC News - CM Punk's UFC 225 statement
Former WWE star CM Punk has vowed to showcase a new and improved version of himself when he faces Mike Jackson at UFC 225.
“It’s my second fight and I’ve got a lot to prove. And I’m about to prove it to me and my team,” Punk said during the UFC 225 Countdown video.
“You’re about to see a more experienced CM Punk.”
“It’d be easy to quit and walk away," the 39-year-old added.
"But I’ve kind of never done the easy thing. To me, the harder I work, the bigger the victory.”
