Conor McGregor: Dana White reveals crunch talks plans after UFC Liverpool
UFC president Dana White will meet with Conor McGregor in Las Vegas to discuss his next move.
The Notorious’ future in mixed martial arts’ premier promotion is currently up in the air following his antics at the UFC 223 media day in New York, where he threw a dolley through the window of a bus carrying his fellow fighters.
McGregor was charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief for his antics and will appear in court next month to answer for his actions.
White was supposed to rendezvous with McGregor this weekend before UFC Fight Night 130, which took place in Liverpool, England.
The meeting didn’t come to fruition and has now been shifted to Vegas, though White hasn’t given a timeframe for it.
“Conor and I are going to meet in Vegas,” the UFC chief told reporters during the UFC Fight Night 130 post-fight press conference.
“He and I haven’t seen each other since New York. We haven’t seen each other, we haven’t talked. Nothing.
“We need to get together soon.”

Despite revealing his plans to hold talks with the Irishman, White insists the promotion can’t make plans for him until after his upcoming court case, the result of his antics at the UFC 223 media day.
“It depends on what goes on with him in New York in June,” White said.
He added: “We can’t determine anything until June is cleared up.”
McGregor, 29, hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since his historic UFC 205 victory over Eddie Alvarez, a triumph which saw him become the first fighter in the promotion’s history to hold two titles simultaneously.
His last outing in the combat sports world was a multi-million-pound boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr, which he lost via a tenth-round TKO.
His first bout back in mixed martial arts will more than likely be against new UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, a fight White can foresee happening.
“I’m pretty confident that that is the fight that Conor wants and I’m pretty confident that’s is the fight Khabib wants,” White said during the UFC Fight Night 130 press conference.
“I can see that happening.”
Nurmagomedov is more than keen to face McGregor next and sent a chilling message his way last weekend.
