Darren Till knocked out Donald Cerrone in his last outing inside the Octagon
Till is confident going into the biggest fight of his career and believes that the entire mixed martial arts world will view him as the best striker in the 170lbs division after he’s done with Thompson.
“As soon as I beat Stephen everyone will know that I’m the best striker in the welterweight division,” Till told the Obviously Fight Talk podcast.
“As soon as I beat him on the 27th then people can stop talking about my hype train.”
Till doesn't foresee the fight going the distance and believe's he'll become the first man to stop the South Carolina native.
When asked for a prediction, he said: "Third round knockout."
