UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor has taken aim at his interim counterpart Tony Ferguson for withdrawing from UFC 223.
Ferguson was due to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the undisputed lightweight title on Saturday night but was forced to withdraw from the bout with a knee injury.
McGregor wasn't surprised by 'El Cucuy's' late exit from the card and made his thoughts on the matter known in a very crude tweet.
He tweeted: “These fools pull out more times than I do with my d**k.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov sends warning to Max Holloway
Nurmagomedov has warned Max Holloway, Ferguson's replacement, that he'll be in for a long night at the Barclays Center.
“No one is like me,” the Dagestan native said during an appearance on The MMA Hour
"Nobody [was] wrestling with him [in past fights].
"But now, he is on different territory, different weight class, different animals. Everything is different.”

Tony Ferguson breaks silence
Ferguson believes his freak accident during a UFC media event shouldn't result in him being stripped of the interim lightweight title.
The Michigan native, 33, injured his knee after tripping on a cable at Fox Studios last week.

“I mean seriously, there is a precedent for having a fight for a ‘real’ title and keeping an ‘interim’ title intact,” Ferguson told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani.
“They just did that with Robert Whittaker last year.
“You shouldn’t strip a champion due to a freak injury that happened during a UFC-obligated media event.”
