Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coach Javier Mendez reckons Conor McGregor will be stripped of his lightweight title.
McGregor, 29, has yet to defend the 155lbs title, which he claimed 16 months in the main event of UFC 205.
"I think he will get stripped," Mendez told Express Sport. “If he doesn’t relinquish it, I think he will get stripped.
"Because the contract has been signed by Tony and Khabib. They're fighting for the real title. So if they’re not fighting for the real title, somebody is getting sued."

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley reckons Floyd Mayweather Jr has a chance of winning a mixed martial arts fight via KO.
"Floyd Mayweather is one of the best strikers of all time," Woodley told TMZ. "How many guys in the UFC can’t wrestle, can’t grapple, but consider themselves a stand-up fighter.
"If they have to stand across from one of the greatest strikers ever, they gonna be in a world of smoke."

Joe Rogan sends Conor McGregor warning to Floyd Mayweather
UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes McGregor would annihilate Mayweather in a mixed martial arts bout and that the boxer should try and fight former WWE superstar CM Punk.
Mayweather, 41, recently hinted that he's interested in trying his hand at MMA, leading many to assume he's eyeing a rematch with McGregor inside the Octagon.
