Floyd Mayweather Jr has claimed he ‘carried’ Conor McGregor for the duration of their much-maligned boxing match.
“Everybody is trying to protest the Mayweather-McGregor fight but I’m going to tell y’all the truth,” he said.
“You know I carried McGregor. You know I made it look good for y’all.”

Meanwhile, UFC president Dana White has revealed that McGregor’s antics at Bellator 187 cost him a spot at UFC 219.
“Yeah, you know, it was obviously that and he was a little rambunctious at our event too out in Poland,” White said during an appearance on The Jim Rome Show when asked if McGregor’s behaviour at the event led to his removal from the final pay-per-view card of 2017.
“You’ve been in this game for a long time, Rome, you know. You see these guys, they’re young, they become super famous.
“And you get $100m in the bank... it’s hard to keep guys on the tracks.”

And finally, UFC lightweight contender Kevin Lee believes McGregor is 'f*****g up' with his behaviour outside of the Octagon.
“That boy is f*****g up. If the rumours are true, he better get his s**t together,” Lee said.
“Because he’s got a long mountain to climb. I don’t think he’s going to (retire).

“People are saying, ‘Oh, is he going to fight?’ Is he going to do this?’ I take the man for his word, he says he says he’s a fighter, I think he’s going to come back.
“He has to come back to try and defend that title. He’s got a long mountain to climb up there.”
