GSP: Dana White reveals how St-Pierre really viewed Bisping fight
GEORGES ST-PIERRE looked at Michael Bisping as an easy opponent, UFC president Dana White has claimed.

St-Pierre's return to mixed martial arts, which headlined UFC 217 in November, saw him challenge the Brit for the middleweight title.
In front of a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York, St-Pierre brought about the end of Bisping's reign at the summit of the 185lbs division with a third-round submission victory.
The Canadian’s pursuit of a bout with Bisping was criticised by many, who claimed the future UFC Hall of Famer was avoiding the tough challenges in the welterweight division.
St-Pierre vehemently defended his pursuit of middleweight gold, insisting the chance to make history was his main motivation for hunting a fight with ‘The Count’.
However, according to White, the former two-time welterweight champion was keen to take on Bisping as he viewed as a warm-up fight.
“You looked at Bisping like he was a tune-up,” White said during a media lunch last week when discussing St-Pierre’s future in the middleweight division.

You looked at Bisping like he was a tune-up
“You got your tune-up, there’s nothing but f—king animals at 185 and 170. Luke Rockhold is massive, he’s massive when he cuts weight. There’s no good options.
“To sit there and try to handpick people, or where you want to go and everything else, you can’t in this f****ng sport.

St-Pierre’s next fight is expected to be a middleweight title unification bout with interim 185lbs champion Robert Whittaker.
However, the proposed bout is currently up in the air as St-Pierre is currently suffering from a bout of Colitis and has yet to commit his future to the middleweight division.
