Conor McGregor leaves the Blanchardstown District Court in Dublin this afternoon
The UFC's lightweight champion appeared at the Blanchardstown District Court in Dublin, Ireland this afternoon charged with a speeding offence.
Twenty-nine-year-old McGregor was ordered to the courthouse by Judge Miriam Walsh after failing to attend two previous hearings.
The Notorious was due to appear in front of the judge in the morning but was sound asleep when the proceedings began.
McGregor’s failure to turn up on time enraged Judge Walsh, who said: "I'm getting nothing but fingers from Mr McGregor. If he's making a case he has to be here.
When asked by Judge Walsh where his client was, McGregor’s solicitor, Graham Kenny, admitted he had no knowledge of the Irishman’s whereabouts.
"This is absolute disrespect to the court. I am very annoyed with Mr McGregor.”
Kenny quickly got in contact with Ireland’s first UFC belt holder and found out he was still laying in bed.
Upon hearing this news, Kenny raced to McGregor’s house and dragged him to the courthouse.
