Robert Whittaker net worth: How much is UFC star worth?
Robert Whittaker goes up against Israel Adesanya at UFC 243 but how much has he made and what is his net worth?
Robert Whittaker returns to the octagon for the first time since June 2018.
The Australian puts his UFC middleweight belt on the line against Israel Adesanya at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.
Officially, this will be Whittaker’s first title defence.
He defeated Yoel Romero in June 2018 as the middleweight champion, but Romero failed to make weight prior to the bout, so it was not technically classed as a title fight.
Whittaker was then due to face Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 234 but had to pull out due to illness.
Adesanya later fought Gastelum at UFC 236 in Atlanta, with the Nigerian-New Zealander earning the interim middleweight belt.
Whittaker’s wait is finally over as he battles it out with Adesanya to become the undisputed champion.
And ahead of his return, ‘The Reaper’ said: “I know what to do when I go to work.
“I’ve done this before, I've been in the biggest stages before and I know that come [Fight Night] I’m going to walk in there and I’m going to do my thing.”
