CONOR MCGREGOR - Express Sport brings you the latest news on the former UFC lightweight champion.
Conor McGregor coach gives return update
Conor McGregor’s head coach John Kavanagh has admitted he doesn’t know when ‘The Notorious’ will return to the Octagon.
"I honestly don't know,” the Straight Blast Gym Ireland head coach said when asked if he knows when we’ll next see 'Mystic Mac' in action.
"That's a question for Conor, he's got a lot of other stuff going on so I'll just be honest and say I don't know."
Conor McGregor rift denied by Kavanagh
Kavanagh has insisted he’s on good terms with McGregor and he will be in his fellow Irishman’s corner should he decide to fight again.
"I don't think [me cornering Conor] is in doubt,” said Kavanagh. "I'm sure I'll be there, we talk almost daily.
"He doesn't have a fight lined up yet but as soon as he does we'll get the old gang back together and starting plotting, training.
I honestly don't know
"And I'm sure he'll steal the show again, which I've no doubt he'll do.”
Conor McGregor takes aim at Rafael dos Anjos
Rafael dos Anjos has found himself on the receiving end of a trolling from McGregor, whom he was meant to fight at UFC 196 in March 2016.
Dos Santos withdrew from their lightweight bout with a broken foot, which McGregor mocked on Twitter shortly after the Brazilian’s submission win over Kevin Lee on Sunday morning
“I guess we’ll never know, cos he bottled it, with a broken toe,” McGregor said in response to a tweet about his cancelled bout with ’RDA’.
A fan responded with a picture of dos Anjos’ swollen foot, saying: “That’s some swollen toe.”
McGregor replied by saying: “Lol my bad, I didn’t know it was actually just a bruise.”
