Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov rematch OFF: Manager slams McGregor
CONOR MCGREGOR will not be given a rematch by Khabib Nurmagomedov because he does not deserve it.
That is according to Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz.
Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor in the main event at UFC 229, winning via submission.
The Irishman tapped out after Khabib caught him in a rear choke hold.
After the post-fight brawl that broke out, McGregor declared he wanted an immediate rematch.
But the chances of that rematch happening appear to have been squashed by Nurmagomedov’s manager claiming he doesn’t deserve it.
Abdelaziz explained that Nurmagomedov would not be hit with a large fine by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, before sending an insult McGregor’s way.
“The fans had a great night,” he told TMZ Sports.
“The UFC made a lot of money, this guy (McGregor) made a lot of money, Khabib made a lot of money.
“Now he’s talking about a rematch?
“This guy, he quit.
“How are we going to give a guy a rematch? He's a b****."
Abdelaziz then appeared to backtrack slightly, and admitted that a rematch could be possible for one reason.
“He’s a hoe, he’s a prostitute,” he added.
“I said before he was a prostitute and he is still a prostitute.
“It’s business, whatever is going to bring Khabib money, I’ll do.
“Whatever he wants, I’ll do.
“He is the fighter, whatever he wants me to do, I’ll do to the best of my ability.”
